DESIGN

Good design is not just about how something looks.
It's about function, durability and responsibility.
At The Organic Company, we design based on simple principles that ensure our products are made to be used, repaired and kept.

Design principles

1. Function

Design must solve a real need
We create products with a clear purpose.
From high absorbency and functional details to well-thought-out sizes and materials. Function is always the starting point.
If a product doesn't make everyday life better, it has no place.

2. Aesthetic

What you surround yourself with should feel right
We believe in calm design, timeless colors and shapes that outlast trends.
Our aesthetic is created to fit into everyday life and become a natural part of the home.
Not for a season. But for many years.

3. Organic

Materials are never neutral
We work with organic materials because the choices we make from the start have an impact throughout the product's life.
For us, organic is not an option.
It is the foundation.

4. Repair

It should be repairable
Wear is a part of life.
We design with repair in mind because we believe in extending life rather than replacing.
Through our Repair Cafés and mending initiatives, we actively work to keep textiles in use longer.

5. Durability

Longevity is the best alternative to fast fashion
We work with durable materials, reinforced details and designs that last both functionally and aesthetically.
Durability is not just quality.
It is responsibility.

LESS IS BETTER

For us, less is better is not about consuming less at all costs.
It is about choosing wisely.
Investing in products that are created with function, durability and responsibility as a foundation. Products that are not designed to be replaced quickly, but to become a part of everyday life for many years.
We believe that when design is well thought out, materials are chosen with care, and quality lasts, a different relationship arises between people and the things they own.
You take better care of them.
You repair them.
You keep them longer.
This is where less is better.
Not because we have to do without.
But because we can create more value with fewer, better choices.
For us, good design is not just something you see.
It is something you live with.
